§ 1. General provisions

  1. These Terms govern the use of the Plants4Pets website (the “Service”) — a free, publicly accessible encyclopedia of plant toxicity for cats, dogs and horses.
  2. The Service is operated by Kevin Pietrzyk, z siedzibą pod adresem: Juliusza Lea 219/7, 30-133 Kraków, NIP 6772467132, REGON 389678166, e-mail: kontakt@plants4pets.pl (the “Administrator”).
  3. By using the Service, submitting reports or contacting us, you accept these Terms and acknowledge the Privacy Policy.
  4. Definitions:
    • Service — the Plants4Pets website, search engine, plant pages and report forms.
    • User — any person using the Service, including visitors who submit reports.
    • Content — plant names, photos, toxicity ratings, descriptions and other encyclopedia data.

§ 2. Nature of the Service

  1. Plants4Pets provides educational information about plant toxicity for pets. It does not replace veterinary advice, diagnosis or treatment.
  2. If your pet has eaten a plant, contact a veterinarian or pet poison helpline immediately.
  3. Some entries are community-submitted or awaiting verification. Ratings marked as verified have been reviewed by our team.
  4. The Administrator strives to keep data accurate but does not guarantee completeness or error-free content.

§ 3. User reports and contributions

  1. Users may submit corrections, missing plants, photos and sources via the report form or e-mail.
  2. By submitting a report you confirm that the information is provided in good faith and that you accept these Terms.
  3. The Administrator may use submitted content to improve the encyclopedia without obligation to publish every suggestion.
  4. Do not submit unlawful, offensive or misleading content. The Administrator may ignore or delete abusive submissions.

§ 4. Personal data

  1. Personal data is processed in accordance with the Privacy Policy (GDPR information clause).
  2. When you submit a report we process your e-mail address and message content to handle your request.

§ 5. Liability

  1. The Administrator is not liable for decisions made solely on the basis of Service content, nor for indirect damage arising from use of the Service, except where mandatory law provides otherwise.
  2. External links (e.g. shopping offers, photo sources) lead to third-party websites for which the Administrator is not responsible.

§ 6. Final provisions

  1. The Administrator may update these Terms. The current version is always available on this page.
